HTTP

HTTP or hypertext transfer protocol determine how different programs exchange data over the internet. The HTTP is the standard protocol used by world wide web.It defines how message are formed and transmitted and what action web server and browser should take in response to various  commands.

Hyper Text is a system in which different type of documents files such as image, sound effects, and text are linked to each other. These document can easily be accessed using a web browser. To visit any website ,we must type its URL which has a standard format.

The transaction from the client to the server take place in three stage :

1. The client open a connection to a web server. By saying client, we assume that it is a web browser.

2. In the second step the client send a request to the web server request contained the data which the client wants the request will also contain headers which determine the type of transition which is going to take place.

3. in the third state this server reply back by sending the headers and desired data the header contains the type of Tata beginning send and the current status of the transaction if the transaction failed the server won't send any data accept the error message .

We vaginal can have multiple transition of this type while opening a single webpage since every single audio files or image file is downloaded separately.

For example ,when we access our email account the process of http transition take place as shown below :

● In the first step we open a connection to the Gmail server by typing the URL HTTP :// www.gmail.com this URL actually send and http commands to the web server directing it to Fetch  and transmit the requested web page. 

● In the second step we enter our resident in the form of username and password when we click on login a request is sent to the server starting the type of transition and the data the transition type in login at the data requested is your email account .

● In the Third Street the server check whether the username and password are inter correctly or not if the residential are correct the service and the desired data helped the current status is success if the accidental do not match the server redirect you to the home page with an error message .the current status of this transition is failure  .
